Booking

Book the band as far ahead as possible

Venue

Be prepared to provide directions to your event.

Performance Hours

When you want the band to start / stop performing.
Allow 1 to 2 hours before and after these times for set up, test, sound check and tear down.

Electrical Power

Ask the band ahead of time what their power requirements will be.

Dressing Room

The band will need a place to change.

Break Music

Some bands will provide their own, some will not have any.

Band Breaks

Most artists will perform 'sets' of music with 15 to 30 minute breaks.

Speeches, etc.

Talk to the sound man or a band member before walking up to a 'hot' microphone.

Payment

A deposit may be required at the time of the booking.
Usually, the balance is paid at the first break.
